Black and White film

35mm Black and White film

Simplicity and grace: the staples of black and white photography.

info:

All film photoshoots are done on 35mm film in analog cameras. Each roll of black and white film typically includes 36 shots. Part of the beauty of film photography is that results are unpredictably unique, adding an element of risk in choosing film photography over digital. Afraid of risk? Let’s talk about it!

Processing costs and the cost of the film itself will be rolled into the total cost of the photoshoot (I’ll handle the math), but be assured that I will be transparent about any costs before the photoshoot! Those costs will be dependent upon the type of film you want as well as how many rolls of film you want!

Processing times will typically take a few weeks. The lab that produces the most consistent results for me is located in Florida. This means that I will mail your film to them. Once the lab receives the film, they will process, scan, and share the scans which, on average, will take 5-7 business days.

Some of my favorite black and white films!

  • Ilford HP5

  • Cinestill BWXX

  • Lucky SHD 400
